A well-established public hospital is looking for an energetic and hardworking Theater Nurse to join their dynamic team of midwives, to work on shifts based. Working in a busy city in the Auckland Region, and you will provide quality maternity care for the community.
In this role, you will ensure nursing care of the highest quality in accordance with the Nursing Council of New Zealand scope of practice (Registered Theater Nurse).
As the pregnant women in the community requires operative births, the public hospital wishes to enhance the medical care services and looking for a highly motivated & experienced Theater Nurse with great initiative to provide maternity care for the women community. This role focuses on enabling the timely provision of both elective and emergency cesarean sections of the public hospital. This public hospital is equipped with a maternity assessment unit, 06 antenatal clinics, an antenatal/postnatal ward, and a birthing suite.
Eligibility Criteria
- New Zealand Registered Theater Nurse
- Proven ability to engage with people at all levels with a bicultural approach as a community midwife
