The Role
You will be supported by an established senior leadership team led by our Clinical Director for ORL and Clinical Lead. The ability to work well within a multicultural team environment is an essential attribute. The position includes some regional on-call requirement as part of the role. You will be working across both North Shore and Waitakere sites managing dedicated elective clinic and theatre sessions.
We offer a full range of ORL assessments and adult diagnostic and rehabilitation. You will work closely with other highly skilled health professionals, particularly ORL specialists and other clinical support team members. The purpose and main focus of this role are to provide a high standard of clinical practice in the management and delivery of Head & Neck and Laryngology care, for the people of the Waitemata region. We are able to assist with the immigration process, along with relocation assistance.
Eligibility Criteria
- FRACS (Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery) or equivalent
- Broad understanding of the NZ health sector
- Recognises the key success actors in working in health
Location
The North Shore comprises a large suburban area to the north of downtown Auckland; linked to the rest of the greater Auckland metropolitan area by two harbour bridges – the Auckland Harbour Bridge crosses the inner Waitemata Harbour to Auckland City, while the Upper Harbour Bridge provides a connection to Auckland's western suburbs, Waitakere, across the northern stretches of the harbour.
