We provide opportunities to grow your skills in high fidelity clinical simulation, toxicology, research and retrieval medicine. The Adult Emergency Department is actively involved in clinical and university based teaching (including the ACME course, ACLS, Ultrasound, ED thoracotomy and difficult airway courses) and is currently involved in a number of key national and international research projects.
We would welcome applications from candidates with specialist qualifications in toxicology or have an interest in this area.

Work Experience
- Minimum of 2 years experience in major urban emergency department, within a compatible health service to NZ
Skills and Attributes

- Able to maintain good professional relationships and be respectful of other team members’ skills.

- Provides patient centred care at all times and to role model this standard to other staff.
- Familiarity with health service IT systems
- Willingness to participate in emergency medicine research as required.
- Ability to teach, mentor, supervise and direct junior medical staff.
