A well-established public hospital is looking for a professional and hardworking Registered Nurse to join their supportive team, to work casual basis. The public hospital has casual staff consisting of Registered Nurses, Midwives, Healthcare assistants and Mental Health assistants to work across the hospital to cover planned & unplanned leave.
The public hospital committed to the application of the Vulnerable Children Act 2014 and its intent to improve the safety of all children. This position is a Core Children’s Worker as defined by the Act.
This role aimed at promoting health and wellness; help improve the quality of life in the community. This job tasked with maintaining accurate patients’ reports and medical histories, administering medication and treatment to patients and observing side effects, perform diagnostic tests, supervise less-skilled licensed or certified nurses, and prepare patients for examination and treatment.
Eligibility Criteria
- New Zealand registered nurse with the current APC from New Zealand Nursing Council
- RGN; RGON; RPN; RCpN with or without BN or BHSc (Nursing)
- Professional portfolio of post-nursing experience of minimum 03 years
- Excellent interpersonal & inter-professional skills required
- Intermediate level computer skills required
- Able to meet the physical demands of the role
