Purpose of the position:
To meet the needs of patients and their family/whanau using contemporary nursing care which is safe, appropriate and effective. The care is based on comprehensive assessment, ensures continuity, and is patient/consumer centred, culturally sensitive and evidence-based.
Service Descriptor:
- Identified patient/client group for the role
- Area of speciality clinical practice and setting that care will primarily be delivered in
- Key points of integration and collaboration with other teams; services or providers
- The anticipated outcomes of care/intervention
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Be practicing at ADHB RN PDRP level 3 or 4 or equivalent senior level (level 2 will also be considered)
- Have at least three years’ recent acute nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Be a New Zealand registered nurse with a current annual practicing certificate
- Be willing to work a variety of 8hr shifts over the 24hr period, 7 days a week (rostered)
- Communicate effectively with others with relatable interpersonal skills
- Be committed to the delivery of excellent standards of care
- Be motivated to continue with your professional development
