A well-established public hospital is looking for a professional, energetic and hardworking Registered Nurse to join their dynamic team, to work full time. Working in a picturesque most popular city in the Auckland Region you will provide care for the community.
In this role, you will ensure nursing care of the highest quality in accordance with the Nursing Council of New Zealand scope of practice (Registered Nurse) and the DHB Professional Development.
This position has not categorized as a children's worker under the Children's Act.
The public hospital wishes to enhance the oncology medical care services for the future and looking for a highly motivated & experienced Registered Nurse with great initiative to provide quality health care for the community.
Eligibility Criteria
- New Zealand registered nurse from New Zealand Nursing Council
- RGN; RGON; RPN; RCpN with or without BN or BHSc (Nursing)
- An oncology, hematology or medical nursing background required
- Willingness to work in the field of Oncology care services
- Proven ability to engage with people at all levels with a bicultural approach
- Professional portfolio of post-graduate nursing experience of minimum 02 years
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Self-management skills
- Excellent organizing and managing skills
- Inter-professional skills required

The public hospital provides professional care such as managing oncological emergencies; administer inpatient chemotherapy, inpatient radiotherapy, managing immunotherapy related side effects, radiation oncology, and palliative care.
