Purpose of the position:
To meet the needs of patients and their family/whanau using contemporary nursing care which is safe, appropriate
and effective. The care is based on a comprehensive assessment, ensures continuity, and is patient/consumer centred, culturally sensitive and evidence-based.
Service Descriptor:
- Identified patient/client group for the role
- Area of speciality clinical practice and setting that care will primarily be delivered in.
- Key points of integration and collaboration with other teams; services or providers
- The anticipated outcomes of care/intervention

Skills & Experience:
We are looking for an experienced Staff Nurse with a vibrant and positive personality with:
- The Right to work in New Zealand (Valid Work Visa)
- NZ Nursing Registration AND a Valid Annual Practising Certificate
- Extensive General Surgical experience and be able to care for complex surgical patients.
- Experience working in a Women’s Health setting
- Experience working in a complex and highly demanding environment
- Possess a “will do/can do” attitude
- Ability to work independently but within a team environment
