Our client is looking for great nurses to join their inpatient team.
Situated in the heart of Auckland, our purpose-built, free-standing unit is on the grounds of the Hospital with superb access to public transport, close to several major shopping and entertainment centres and adjacent to the Auckland Domain.
It provides a hospital-based continuum of care for adults, 18-65, with complex psychiatric problems in our 3 wards: a 12 bed psychiatric intensive care (ICU) and two 23 bed open wards. Their recovery approach supports and complements the community mental health services.
This hospital serves the central Auckland population of adult’s aged 18-65 experiencing acute mental illness.
This is comprised of two open wards and an intensive care ward and operates as one integrated 58 bed unit.
Nursing practice within the adult continuum is underpinned by the principles of Recovery and evidence based best practice.

New Zealand Mental Health RN graduates from 1995 forward must have completed a NESP program.
They employ experienced psychiatric nurses from all over the world.
UK, Australia & Canada MH RNs will find strong similarities in licensure and practice which aid the transition to their wonderful setting. Relocation assistance is available.
