Engagement
• The position is for the Obstetrics Gynaecology Services
• Located in the Wellington Central Region
• Permanent Full-time engagement
Essential Criteria
• Suitable for Resident Medical Officers who will be PGY3/F3 or above by the role commencement date
• 3 months previous experience in O&G as this role partakes on the out of hours roster
• Eligibility for general or provisional general registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand
• Be an NZ or Australian citizen or resident, or have an appropriate visa to be eligible to live and work in NZ
• Excellent written communication skills to provide timely reports
• Registration with NZ Psychologist Board (clinical scope)
• Current practicing certificate
• Update knowledge on treatments and medical practices
• Knowledge of medical ethics and law

About the Hospital
This is a well-established public hospital which, provides Mental Health, Addiction, and Intellectual Disability Service; and local, regional, and national health services; neurosurgery, oncology, neonatal intensive care and community-based services including district nursing, rehabilitation services, social work, alcohol and drug services, and home support services.
