Title: Nurse Specialist – Thromboembolism Unit
Reports Professionally to: Nurse Unit Manager Haematology
Position Purpose:
The Nurse Specialist is an advanced nursing practice role and is responsible for providing specialist nursing care and/or coordination of care to a specific patient client population across health care settings. As a senior nurse, this role also has a responsibility for improving the quality of professional nursing practice and safe guarding high standards of care in ADHB by supporting an environment in which excellence in clinical care can flourish.
