This Centre provides a multi-disciplinary, recovery focussed service for clients living in Auckland.
This is an opportunity to be a part of a service that will support excellent clinical care into the future, as well as offering the chance to develop your existing Mental Health knowledge and nursing skills in an established and multidisciplinary work environment.
As a key member of this professional, dedicated team, you’ll be assessing and managing the needs of Service Users that are referred to the service with an acute mental health presentation and increased risk. Being a confident communicator and clinical decision-maker with strong nursing competencies is imperative.

Applicants will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills and an understanding of the assessment and treatment needs of people who are acutely unwell.
- This is ideal for a Mental Health Nurse who has experience and skills working with people from a range of cultural backgrounds and has worked in a Community Mental Health setting previously.
- Strong organisational skills and a high level of time management are also required in the role.
- Development opportunities are also available, Client is keen to support PDRP portfolio achievement and postgraduate education.
- This role is not suitable for new graduates.
A current Annual Practising Certificate and a full and clean NZ driver's licence are essential requirements. Experience within a community mental health setting would be beneficial.
