The Opportunity
Do you like to work in one of the largest suburbs in Auckland as a Medical Officer? A medical officer vacancy exists at our client’s medical practice in Mangere, New Zealand. Currently, 06 full-time GPs are working in this facility and they are looking for a new Medical Officer for a position with flexible working arrangements.
The Medical Practice
This is a teaching practice so they also have GP registrars and nursing students working with the facility. This medical centre provides urgent care for accidents and injuries and general practice services, treating minor injuries, depression, asthma and diabetes. The facility is open on weekdays from 8.00 am – 8.00 pm. Apart from that, Private x-ray, dental and pharmacy services are available on site.
The Location
MÄngere is one of the largest suburbs in Auckland, in northern New Zealand. It is located on mainly flat land on the north-eastern shore of the Manukau Harbour, to the northwest of Manukau City Centre and 15 km south of the Auckland city centre.

Qualifications & Experience
- Must have completed a six-year Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBCHB) degree
- Registration with Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
- Fellowship of Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) preferred
- GP candidate should be proficient with common general practice conditions
- Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply
- Prior experience would also be an added advantage
- Nursing support available
- weekdays from 8.00 am – 8.00 pm.
