As a part of National Women's Health Services, the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Service provides a regional service to 40,000 pregnant women and Fetal Therapy and Fetal Cardiac Services to New Zealand and some Pacific Islands (65,000 pregnancies). The position offers a mix of Maternal and Fetal medicine, on-call commitments, leadership opportunity and possibly additional clinical sessions.

The Role
Principally to provide clinical care for women and babies within the MFM Service, which is evidence-based and supports National Women’s Health in providing a clinical service to the community.
Eligibility Criteria
- Post-graduate training and experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
- Possession of the CMFM or equivalent.
- Eligible for specialist registration in NZ.
- Clinical experience in invasive fetal procedures/therapy.
- Proven clinical Obstetrics & Gynaecology experience.
- Ability to demonstrate medical management within Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
- Experience in Women’s Health Ultrasound.
Location
Downtown Auckland, or Auckland Central, is a commercial district with mainstream fashion stores along Queen Street, and trendy boutiques and oyster bars in the heritage buildings of Britomart. The Sky Tower offers views over the Hauraki Gulf, while the Auckland Art Gallery displays paintings of Maori leaders. Central Aotea Square hosts craft fairs and concerts.
