Looking for a rural GP career? Come, Work & live in a rural town in Wellington, New Zealand. A full-time GP engagement with an offer of Salaried position or with view of partnership. Our client’s medical team consists of qualified GPs, nurse and they are with multilingual ability as well. This medical centre is spanning over 85 years in Wellington and is a Cornerstone Accredited Practice.
The Medical Practice
The facility is open on weekdays from 8.00 am – 5.00 pm. This is a disable patients friendly medical centre. Offering a wide range of medical and nursing services, their medical team can look after general, family and maternity health. Our client can provide travel medicine too as well as screening and minor surgery.
The Location
Originally an Edwardian spa town, Te Aroha, which means “the love” in MÄori, has prospered since the goldrush days and is now becoming as well known for its walking, hiking and biking activities as much as its rejuvenating waters. Edwardian spa town of Te Aroha sits at the base of Mount Te Aroha, which is the tallest peak in the Kaimai-Mamaku Forest Park. The Te Aroha Domain is currently the most intact Edwardian spa in New Zealand.

Qualifications & Experience
- Must have completed a six-year Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBCHB) degree
- Registration with Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ)
- Fellowship of Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners (RNZCGP) preferred
- GP candidate should be proficient with common general practice conditions
- Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply
- Prior experience would also be an added advantage
- Nursing support available
