We have expanded our operations into New Zealand Healthcare industry in the recent past. Thus, we have got signed with few Public Health Boards that comes with the name DHB (District Health Board) that manages several Public Hospitals under their wing and have much Healthcare position available on their site looking for suitable candidates. We received their consent to grab information from those vacancies and post on our private platforms to reach a targeted audience.
We are looking an experienced New Zealand registered physiotherapist with a current practising certificate to work in our Physiotherapy Team based at our Hospital. This key role reports directly to the Clinical Lead - Physiotherapy.
Purpose of Position:
To provide a client/family/ whanau centred, safe, effective, outcome focused and innovative physiotherapy service within an interdisciplinary team, where the majority of your time is client related. Specific objectives for your role will be agreed separately with your Team Leader (or their delegate) as part of your annual performance planning process.

As the ideal person for this role, you will have the following skills and attributes: -
- At least 3 years of clinical experience
- A passion for working in acute care
- Experience in general surgery & renal/ liver transplant (desirable)
- Excellent clinical decision making skills and use of evidence based practice
- A flexible, pro-active and can-do approach with experience supporting staff and students
- Excellent organisational, communication and inter - personal skills
- Evidence of establishing and developing working relationships within the wider MDT
- Ability to work autonomously in a bicultural environment and knowledge of the acute hospital environment
- NZ registration and a current Annual Practicing Certificate
This is a full time position of 40 hours per week, with a clinical caseload providing a comprehensive service to general surgery and renal/liver transplant patients in our Hospital. You may also be required to participate in our weekend and on-call roster.
