The Role
To provide clinical expertise across the specialty of General Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Participating in the delivery of excellent patient care, research, and expertise in line with the organization's vision and values. Areas of sub-specialty interest which would be valuable to the Service include EUS, Advanced Endoscopy, Nutrition, Functional Bowel Diseases, and Clinical Leadership.
Eligibility Criteria
- FRACP or equivalent and vocational registration in New Zealand
- Specialist accreditation in endoscopy recognized by the NZ Gastroenterology Society
- Trained in General Internal Medicine
- Ability to function as an autonomous consultant in a teaching hospital
