A well-established public hospital is looking for a professional, energetic and fun Registered Midwife to join their dynamic team, to work as full-time employee. Working in a picturesque most popular city in the Manawatu-wanganui Region you will provide care for women from the community. The public hospital provides health services such as minor surgery, palliative care, and maternity care, management of GP inpatient services, elder health, community nursing, and general primary healthcare within a rural setting.
This classified as a children's worker role, therefore subject to the safety check requirements of the Vulnerable Children Act 2014.
It is looking for a midwife with demonstrated outstanding communication skills and great initiative to provide quality maternity care for the women in the community.

Eligibility Criteria
• Professional portfolio
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer competent
• Tertiary qualifications as a midwife
• Ability to provides pregnancy, labor, birth and postnatal care including support with breastfeeding
• New Zealand registered midwife with current practicing certificate
• Relevant work experience of 1-5 years with post-registration
