The Opportunity
Are you an experienced, passionate driven Registered Nurse with a passion for chronic care?
The medical centre is currently seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse to join their vibrant and innovative nurse led team. This is a busy facility, so a calm demeanour, a good sense of humour and being a team player is essential in the role. Ideally, you will have the ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team nursing environment, which requires good organisational and communication skills and the ability to demonstrate safe clinical practice. As the community registered nurse, you will be joining a skilled and knowledgeable nursing team that aim for high-quality patient care.
The Medical Facility
• Facility hours are on Monday to Thursday from 1.00 pm-5.00 pm
• Services offered: maternity care, diabetes management, chronic disease management, travel clinic, podiatry checks
The Location
This is a city in the Waikato region of New Zealand’s North Island. Hamilton Gardens, a sprawling public park, features elaborate themed gardens ranging from Italian Renaissance to Japanese and traditional Maori styles. The Waikato Museum displays Maori art and artefacts. Next door, ArtsPost gallery focuses on local art. In the busy city centre, Victoria Street is lined with restaurants, cafes and bars.

Qualifications & Experience
To apply for this role as a Registered Nurse, you must hold or be eligible for:
• Successful completion of a 3-year bachelor of nursing degree (level 07 on the New Zealand qualifications framework).
• If not, then a 02-year graduate-entry master’s degree (level 08 on the New Zealand qualifications framework).
• Experience in working in a Primary Health Care community setting
• Current Registration with NZ Nursing Council in New Zealand with a valid annual practicing certificate.
• Comprehensive knowledge of NZ Health system and Primary Health Care environment
