We are looking for an experienced qualified Clinical Psychologist to cover a fixed-term parental leave position for approximately 6 months in a part time capacity starting as soon as possible.
This role provides Clinical Psychology services and is based in the Starship Consult Liaison Team working within the Paediatric Congenital and Cardiac Service. We are a friendly, hard-working, multidisciplinary team who provide high quality clinical psychology assessments and interventions for children and adolescents and their family/whanau attending the Starship Children’s Hospital. Our cases come from mainly central Auckland, but we also get referrals from the rest of New Zealand and also from within the Pacific region.
Education & Qualifications
- Post graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
- Clinical Experience in child and adolescent psychology (including neuropsychology) and in paediatric medical settings
- Research
Essential:
- Registered Psychologist in the Clinical Psychologist scope of practice
- Experience in child and adolescent mental health service settings and in standard paediatric neuropsychology assessments
- Interest in further research
