- Permanent role, part-time 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week), Monday to Friday
Our team comprises of both M?ori and non-M?ori staff, clinicians and cultural/community support workers who share a passion for supporting M?ori on their recovery pathway.
The multi-disciplinary team provides a range of assessment and recovery-focused treatment options, with a strong multi-disciplinary focus in collaboration with service users, their families, local communities, NGO’s and social services.
In this role, you will provide psychological assessment, formulation, and therapies to people with complex issues including psychosis, mood disorders, personality disorders, and PTSD, along with co-morbid physical issues and co-existing problems.
We are looking for someone who is motivated, able to work both autonomously within a multi-team context and can demonstrate a clear vision and aptitude for the way a Clinical Psychologist can contribute effectively within this setting.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum of a postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology (or its recognized equivalent)
- Registration with the NZ Psychology Board as a Registered Psychologist with a Clinical Scope of Practice
- Current Practising Certificate
- Computer skills including word processing Hold a current NZ Drivers Licence
- Recent experience in mental health settings
- Post-graduate qualification in the related field
- Knowledge of psychological assessment, formulation, and treatment
