About the Hospital
You will be part of a dynamic multidisciplinary team in a hospital setting where strengths in interdisciplinary practice, clinical reasoning, and decision-making skills are highly valued.
The Role
Your key role is to provide high-quality clinical psychology assessment and therapy to people and their families living with chronic renal illness and/ or a long term health condition. An essential part of this role is also to provide renal transplant assessments and support the doner and recipient pre and post-surgery. You will assist clients to address psychological and emotional barriers and enable them to achieve optimum functioning and well-being. You will work in collaboration with the Liaison Psychiatry Team and will work closely with their psychologist and psychiatrists. Ongoing professional development and clinical supervision are provided with this role.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum of a postgraduate degree in Clinical Psychology (or its recognized equivalent)
Registration with the NZ Psychology Board as a Registered Psychologist with a Clinical Scope of Practice Current Practising Certificate
Computer skills including word processing
Holds a current NZ Drivers Licence

Auckland, based around 2 large harbors, is a major city in the north of New Zealand’s North Island.
