Essential Criteria
• Appreciation of Maori culture and rural/community emergency services experience
• Either general registration or be eligible for registration with the New Zealand Medical Council
• Interest in clinical governance, quality improvement, and medical education are essential
• Experience in working Rural Community Health Services
• Relevant training and experience
• Have a current driver's license
• Friendly disposition
• Excellent communication skills & computer literacy
• Ability to work long hours
• Experience in working with administrative work

About the Hospital
This is a well-established public hospital which, provides health services such as 29-bed inpatient services, child health, community rehabilitation services, cancer health, community physiotherapy services, district nursing services, radiology, maternity services, urology, sexual health services, speech-language therapy, oral health services, and community health services.
This position provides outpatient care from the main team location in Whangarei as well as from satellite clinics in other parts of the district. Your responsibilities include executing and interpreting medical images such as X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds, and MRIs and using them to treat health problems in patients. These are team roles suited to applicants with an eye for detail and friendly, no-fuss style and a pro-active approach to work.
