We have expanded our operations into New Zealand Healthcare industry in the recent past. Thus, we have got signed with few Public Health Boards that comes with the name DHB (District Health Board) that manages several Public Hospitals under their wing and have much Healthcare position available on their site looking for suitable candidates. We received their consent to grab information from those vacancies and post on our private platforms to reach a targeted audience.
Our Community provides multidisciplinary care and cultural support to children, young people and their whanau living within the DHB area. The service has three locality based community teams, a central team and a hearing and ear health team. Our nursing, allied health and technical staff are responsible for delivering health care services to children, young people, their families and whanau in their home, school and community settings.
Primary Function
To provide social work primarily to Maori Tamariki, rangatahi and their whanau, using Maori models where appropriate, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Services to be provided at home and in other residential and community settings.
To provide Maori tikanga/cultural guidance and support to team members to improve the accessibility, acceptability and responsiveness of services working with Maori Tamariki, rangatahi and their whanau.
Education & Qualifications
- Social Work Qualification recognised by the Social Work Registration Board
- Current New Zealand driving licence
- Postgraduate study
Experience/Knowledge
- Child and family social work experience including child protection
- Demonstrated knowledge of whanau ora practice
- Demonstrated ability to develop strong networks withiwi and urban Maori health and social service agencies
