About the Hospital
Our integrated locality-based child and adolescent services provide clinically and culturally responsive specialist mental health care for those with serious mental health and addiction problems. We also provide consultation and liaison with primary care partners for those with mild to moderate concerns. We cover the culturally rich communities of South Auckland including Manukau, Manurewa, Papakura and across the Franklin region.
The Role
You will be responsible for providing effective clinical leadership within a designated mental health service, ensuring it is safe, evidence-based and customer focussed. You will also provide expert opinion to the wider community on a range of mental health issues and work in collaboration with General Practitioners and other health professionals to best meet the mental health and emotional needs of service users, within the secondary and primary care/ locality environments.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible to register or registered in a Vocational scope with the Medical Council of New Zealand
Current Annual Practising Certificate with the NZMC
